First Reconciliation and First Communion

First Communion preparation begins in fall 2026!

At St. John, sacramental preparation classes are held for second graders and older children who, together with their parents/guardians, are ready to make a commitment to the Catholic Church. First Reconciliation classes are held in the Fall and First Communion classes are held in the Spring.

All children of Catechetical age (7 or older) who have not yet been baptized and wish to receive the sacraments will be invited to participate in the Order of Christian Initiation adapted for Children classes. 

Dates for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion classes will be announced soon.
